Anna McIntire's dream of being an accountant is turning into a reality.
Anna found her perfect fit at Ohio Northern University. From Beverly, Ohio, where she graduated from Fort Frye High School, Anna liked ONU's small school environment and the prestigious AACSB-accredited business program.
"The balance of numbers and organization in accounting really drew me in." She values the challenge and structure her major provides, and it aligns with her organized personality.
On campus, Anna is an active leader in Beta Alpha Psi, Beta Gamma Sigma, and her favorite, the Dean's Advisory Council for the College of Business.
"Working closely with the Dean and connecting with the campus and community has been an incredible experience," she says.
Her involvement has given her invaluable opportunities to hone her communication skills, especially through interactive events like student panels.
Anna's passion for accounting started early when a seventh-grade shadowing project introduced her to Prieto & Schott CPAs. That experience sparked her passion for tax accounting--a field she is eager to pursue. After graduating this December, she will return to the same firm to begin her career as a tax accountant.
With internships, real-world experience, and strong relationships built at ONU, Anna feels fully prepared for her future.
"The tight-knit community at 91直播has given me so much," she reflects, "I'm proud to be part of it."
